Rode these gravity powered karts and had a blast! I really enjoyed myself.The interesting part is that when your down you can go look at random photos taken of you through the track. If I was just rating the downhill karting, I would rate the activity a 5. Go early to avoid the longer queues and traffic on the track. Easy to control anyone can do it. Skyline Luge is a unique wheeled gravity ride that provides riders full control over their descent on purpose-built track.

Little kids were allowed to ride by themselves in carts (I would guess as young as 5), they would get scared and stop in the middle of the track.

We had a great time, no lines, 5 rides for $33 was a great value. I literally stopped when one said help as I went past. It is a wonderfully well designed facility that delivers splendidly on its mission to entertain.

The only thing that we could mark points off is the fact my partner was a little big for the carts (6'3, 220 lbs) so when he started going fast, the cart couldn't handle the speed and started shaking - so perhaps they could get a dozen bigger carts that can handle the gravitational pull better? So all you have to to is take your helmet to a reader and the reader shows all the pics associated with that helmet.

The issue was a lack of common sense by some riders and some parents. It looked like it was gonna be there awhile so we opted for refunds for our remaining rides. My family and I visited Calgary at the end of June. My husband, our 13 year old son and my parents did the luge run and loved it!! They and my husband absolutely LOVED it! The luge itself is easy to manage for people of pretty much any size, and fun to ride in down the slope.
